Music at First
Southern starts with congregational singing and traditional
4-part choir music. It ends with a wide variety
of musical styles, instruments, soloists, and small group
ensembles.We do our best to
honor the church calendar with seasonal music, our national
holidays, and the wide musical interests of our members.
Each fifth Sunday of the month we
celebrate on Sunday night with an old fashioned "Hymnfest"
where participants can enjoy their favorite hymns
intertwined with small group talent.
